The foreign employment department EPS Korea branch demanded exam application form for Koren language examination 2080 (2023). The demand is for the different level of workers in Ship for different purpose as per EPS Korea Branch.

As per the contract paper between EPS Korea Branch and Nepal Government, Labour and Employment Ministry this notice has published to take Nepali citizen to work in the Korea.
Korean Language Examination is going to held between Shrawan 20 2080 - Shrawan 24, 2080 (Shrawan 20 to 24) The age of all the candidates participating in this exam should have completed 18 years and should not cross 39 years.
1. Exam Date
- 1. Language Exam (EPS-TOPIK, UBT Language Test, 1st Round):
- 1st Asoj, 2080, Monday to (18th September, 2023 AD)
Note: Exam will held four shifts in a day. Exam Schedule will be changed as per the numbers of candidate. If there are more candidate for EPS exam then exam is held on 1st and 2nd phase.
- 2. Skill Test (Skill Test, 2nd Round)
- First phase language exam (EPS-TOPIK, UBT Language Test) result is published later on.
Note: language Exam (EPS -TOPIK Language Test, 1st Round) Highest marks obtained students are only taken for the further skill test (skill Test 2nd Round).
2. Job Application Sector:- Ship Building Sector
- a. Language Exam (EPS-TOPIK Language Test), From the total passed candidate from Skill Test and Interview only 2500 highest marked obtained candidate list is only published.
Note: (The result for Korea Working Visa is published according to workers demand in Korea. It could be less or more)
- b. Candidates those passed out from the Language test, Skill test, interview and Health check can fill Job Application form for Korea.

3. Eligibility Criteria for EPS Topik
- Nepali Citizen Age between 18 and 39 years i.e. candidate birth date should be between August 6, 1983 and August 5, 2005 (In B.S. between Shrawan 2, 2040 and shrawan 21, 2062)
- Not convicted of any criminal charges
- Those candidate who are being sent back to Nepal for illegal activities in Korea at the past.
- Those who are not restricted to visit abroad.
- Those candidate who lived in Korea E-9 and E-9-1 for less than 5 years
- Not having Color Blindness, Color Weakness & Disk & Finger Amputation.
4. Application process for EPS Korea
- Application Registration Date:- Shrawan 20, 2080, Saturday to Shrawan 24, 2080 Wednesday ( August 5, 2023 - August 9, 2023).
- Exam Center for EPS Korea is at Lalitpur District, Bhaisepati, UBT Building.

Document Requirement for EPS Application Registration
- Upload Color Photograph of Passport having your picture page in .jpeg format with Width 600 pixel, Up to 100KB.
- Compulsory should include own Mobile number and Email Address.
- Scan and Upload recently clicked M.R.P size color photograph in white background showing both side ears and showing upper chest clearly not before 3 months should be included in application form. (Photo Width 100-300 Pixel, File Type: Only JPG Up to 15KB size).
Exam Fee:
The Examination application form fee is USD$ 28 only. Before one day of registration of exam application form of EPS according to the international exchange currency rate published by Nepal Rastra Bank (NRB) converted Nepali Rs. should be paid from the payment provider organization/institutions/banks.
5. Examination Center and Exam Time
- a The examination center and time (shift) is published on 8th Bhadra, 2080, Friday (August 25, 2023)
- b. The numbers of application of related employment sector (Ship Building) and the examination can be conducted by determining the stage of the examination and the number of those who will pass and taking the number specified to be listed in the roster in proportion.
- c. Before one day of examination Biometric registration and after biometric verification the examination is held through UTB (Ubiquitous Based Test, Tablet).

6. Examination Result
- a. Language Examination result date is published later.
- b. Way of Publishing Result:-
- Exam Result is published by Foreign Employment Department, EPS Korea Branch Notice Board and website.
- Visit http://www.eps.go.kr/ or http://epstopik.hrdkorea.or.kr to see the result.
- Mark obtained in the examination by examinee can be seen in http://www.eps.go.kr
- The EPS exam result of candidate is valid for 2 years of published date.

7. Examination System & Number Weight
In production sectors with reading 20 questions & listening 20 question with total is 100 marks.
There are multiple choices questions in EPS-TOPIK. Also, there is interval between reading and listening examination. This help students to get ready for another exam in the interval.
Advance Preparation Before Examination (Who can participate in Exam?)
Those candidate or examination who bring their exam admit card color copy and original passport can only participate in the examination of EPS-TOPIK.
Other Information
- Inside Examination Hall Mobile Phone, Cassette, Player, PDA, MP3 Smart Watch and other electronic devices are fully prohibited. If this types of devices are found in the exam center then exam is automatically disqualified.
- If another person enter the examination hall than person who filled the examination application form then his all the documents are seized and punished according to the Law of Nepal. The person who is caught for doing such activities is published in the public media and such types person are not eligible to participate in this exam for next 4 years.
- Candidate Copying in the language exam and helping to copy is disqualified to participate in the EPS-TOPIK exam for coming 4 years.
- If the candidate participating in the EPS-TOPIK exam has different details (Name, Surname, Date of Birth, and Photo) in application form and passport then such candidate is not eligible to participate in the exam.
- In the Skill Test Exam (Skill Test, 2nd Round) Physical examination (height, Weight) and Colour Vision Deviate and Interview is also done.
- Even though candidate is passed in Korean Language those who are suffered from slipped disc and Finger Amputation cannot fill the employment form for Korea.
- Candidate unable to pass in health checkup and police report even after passing Korea language exam cannot fill employment form for Korea.
- In the EPS employment process labour, employment and Social Security Ministry, Foreign Employment Department, EPS Korea Branch, HRD Department of Korea, EPS Center is only involved rather than private organization, education institutions and persons.
- As per HRD Service of Korea there are very few female candidate are only selected for employment service in Korea.
- Till now those candidate selected from UBT System, the returnee are very less numbers to be selected by the employment companies is Korea.
- Candidate (You) participated and passed in Language exam and skill test for agriculture and livestock can also give application for this exam.
- If the candidate are failed in this sector exam then don't worry they can also participate in the other sectors exam application.
