Age limit of the candidate:
The candidate should be minimum 18 years of age till the last date of
application. The last date for the application of teaching license is 7th Asadh, 2079 with single fee Rs. 700.

application can be submitted through the tsc online application system and
detailed information regarding filling up the application form can be seen
on the website of the Commission.

Bank and method of submitting application fee
Application Fee Submission Period: Must be submitted within the
time of banking transaction on the day after the last day of application and
in case of submission of double fee application must be submitted within the
time of banking transaction on the day after the last day. However, if there
is a public holiday, it can be reported immediately on the opening day of
the office.
Minimum qualification required
- Nepali citizen
- Not disqualified as per (a) (b) (d) (e), (f) and (g) of Rule 10 of the Teachers Service Commission Rules 2057,
- Passed Secondary Education Examination Class 12 or Proficiency Certificate Level or similar examination in a related subject from a recognized educational institution and received at least 10 months training in education subject.
- However, if you have achieved higher than the prescribed minimum educational qualification, you will be eligible.
Teacher License Documents to be uploaded
- Certificate of Citizenship,
- Recent Photograph,
- Signature Sample,
- Minimum Eligibility transcript Certificate,
- Certificate of Training and
- Equivalency Certificate (in case of studying from a foreign educational institution) should be scanned and uploaded at the place specified by the online application system.
The candidate himself should be fully responsible for the details mentioned in the application and the documents submitted.
If the mentioned details and
documents are found to be false, such application or teaching license will
be canceled at any time.
Education Criteria for LSL Teaching License
Higher Secondary Education Passing Examination (Class 12 or +2) or Proficiency Certificate or Undergraduate or Postgraduate level or passing the examination of the same level will be considered as both educational qualification and training.
Important Others notice about Teaching License
- You have to choose the state from which you want to participate in the examination. But a person cannot apply in more than one state.
- An application cannot be submitted which has not been submitted within the time limit prescribed by the Commission or has not met the minimum qualifications or has not submitted other specified details or has not paid the prescribed fee or has not fulfilled the procedure or with any condition.
- The duration of double duty will not be calculated for age, educational qualification and training purposes.
- If any person comes to know that he has submitted false details (documents), the application of such person will be canceled at any time and action will be taken according to the prevailing law.
- A person who is unable to write on his / her own due to disability (visually impaired, C-sighted and unable to move both hands) should be considered as an auxiliary writer. Permission may be granted by the Education Development and Coordination Unit of the district of permanent residence or of the district having examination center. Such assistant writer should have passed the prescribed level or only one year ago.
