NEPALI TEAM for ICC T20 Asia Region Qualifier 2019

NEPALI TEAM for ICC T20 Asia Region Qualifier 2019 with 14 man squad has been fixed. Almost all the players to play this qualifier are experienced the players. The three-member committee of ICC representative Aminul Islam, Head Coach Umesh Patwal and Captain Paras Khadka has selected Nepali Team.

ICC T20 Asia Region Qualifier

Sandeep Jhora made the record in at the age of 17 years 103 Days by scoring Half Century scoring 53 runs off 43 balls in the first T20 International Match Played against UAE played January 21st, 2019 and Bhim Sharki did not play even single game against UAE in that tournament has been left out of 14 man squad of Nepali team.

Nepal will be playing 2 Practice Match against Malaysia which is going to held between Ashadh 28 and 29, 2076 B.S. (July 12th and 13th, 2019 A.D.) After playing 2 Practice Match against Malaysia Nepal will be heading towards Singapore to play Qualifier.

First Match of Nepal: Against Qatar (Shrawan 23th, 2076 B.S.)

Including Nepal, Malaysia, Kuwait, Qatar and Singapore will play against each other. After playing with each other the team that will top in term of point table with the highest point will be selected to play Global T20 which is going to held in UAE

What Paras Khadka Say about Team selection process?

Nepali Team Captain Paras Khadka said that preparation was good. We are playing regular Cricket whole year. Similarly, in Close Camp also we prepared very Nicely. While selecting players we selected best players from later year who had performed well.

Winner of this tournament will advance to Global T20. So to make the dream of playing ICC World Cup T20 in 2020 this tournament is really important. As our rank is good than any Countries playing against us in this Qualifier. Cricket Ground is also good and we need to give our best to win all the games.

What Coach Umesh Patwal tell about Nepali Team?

He said that according to the form and fitness of Players and Nepali team needs, Nepali team has been selected.

Sarad Veswakar Nepali team regular player was injured in a couple of tournament played against UAE. He missed his first ODI game of Nepal against UAE played officially for the first time. In ICC T20 qualifier He has been selected due to his drastic improvement in fitness.
